White women in their 40's and above, who are separated, divorced, or widowed, who have children of any age, who work hard, pay their taxes, yet are considered low income and who are striving to better themselves and the lives of their families.
Today I wrote to the President, I don't know if it will do much good, but it starts with one voice.
One voice to speak up for those of us who have dreams and are watching our dreams die. For those of us who want an education but can't get help. For those of us who want job training but get passed by.
It starts with one.
One voice to be heard.
I want to be heard, how about you?

Thank you Poet!
I have written to your President several times. I have never even heard an acknowledgement that they even read it. But one really needs to start somewhere.
I think you should also appeal this decision and also contact the university/college administration to see if they have any influence.
I hope you get heard, friend. Have you thought of going to your Congressman where you live? When they kept saying my son wasn't in the system, when they woudn't give him his GI Bill benefits, I went to our Congressman and the media. He was cut a check within 24 hours.
YOU GO, GIRL!!!
